
Garam - 1kg Idli/Dosa Batter
This fresh dough from Garam can be used to prepare Idly as well as Dosa. A batter mix for two completely different dishes with a unique taste. They are two of the most popular breakfast dishes in South India. The batter is made from the best quality rice and lentils that have been soaked, ground and naturally fermented. Recommended side dishes: Sambhar and various chutneys.
Preparation: For Idly, simply ladle the batter onto the plate and steam for 10-12 minutes.
For Dosa, add some water to the dough, heat a pan and use a ladle to spread it evenly.
Always close the lid of the pack and store in a cool place when using for a longer period of time.
Will keep in the refrigerator for more than a week.
The dough is already lightly salted.
Note: The packaging may be slightly swollen, which is completely normal. The dough it contains may taste a bit sour due to the active fermentation. The seal of the product should be opened after receipt of the goods before the batter is stored in a cool place - even if it is only to be used later.
