Heer - 5kg Golden sella basmati rice (parboiled)
Heer Golden Sella Basmati Rice is naturally parboiled through the traditional sella process, resulting in extra-long grains with a distinctive sun-kissed hue. Harvested in the Himalayan foothills and carefully aged, this premium 100% Basmati rice is steam-treated to ensure a light, fluffy, and non-sticky texture. Its aromatic profile features a nutty fragrance layered with subtle, toasty notes and a mellow sweetness.
The slender grains stretch impressively during cooking and remain al-dente, making them an ideal accompaniment for biryani, pulao, and creamy curries. They also pair excellently with fried-rice creations, festive stuffings, and traditional rice puddings like kheer. To prepare, rinse the rice until the water runs clear and soak for 30 minutes. Use a ratio of 1.5–2 cups of water per cup of rice, bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15–20 minutes. Allow to rest covered for 5 minutes before fluffing gently with a fork. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in an airtight container to preserve the signature aroma.
